Sometimes the as casual diners we often ride pass various restaurants
that display beautiful signage sporting a sort of minimalist art
approach to titling a restaurant. We pass these places saying to
ourselves.. "I'll have to check that out sometime." However, we often
never get around to it because we get so caught up in the "scare" of
modernist commercialism not being able to deliver on quality while
eagerly swing upwards on the up-charge for their menu selections. We too
often think .. "novelty" and pass up on a truly great culinary
experience.

I love the white, red, and black color scheme of the sign as well as the use of negative space. |
This time I'm here to tell that there are restaurants out
there that do live up to the bold simplicity of their name. The Kebab
Shop was truly splendid dining experience. The Kebab Shop sports a very
pleasant interior and exterior atmosphere with their comfortable seating
and well kept glass windows. The staff was both friendly and
accommodating.

The serving tray was well prepped and I liked the foil hand grips. |
My wife and I sampled a number of items on the menu and
found each one of them absolutely delectable. The Wraps were incredible.
They were loaded with delicious Lamb and Beef accompanied by a sublime
tomato-cucumber-mint mix that gave the wrap an excellent freshness with
acidity. The pickled onions and garlic yogurt provided the perfect
finishing sauce on the expertly thin cooked dürüm styled pita. This was
döner exquisiteness!
Additionally, the Chicken Shawarma was delicious
and paired well with raw onion and their amazing spicy cilantro yogurt
sauce. For dessert, we had the Baklava and distinct honor of meeting
Manuel, the general manager, who gave us a wonderful insight into the
restaurant and its style of cuisine. We learned about the genuine care
put into their brand and the ingredients.

Chicken Shawarma w/ cucumber-tomato-mint mix & fresh raw onion with garlic yogurt sauce. DELICIOUS ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆ |

This
was a fantastic Baklava provided from the Baklava King. This particular
take on the dessert was not oily or tough. It was perfectly balanced. I
could only describe its sum total as sublime... 10/10 |

STEAK & VEGGIE KEBAB with the delicious spicy cilantro sauce. |

The restaurant sported very nice glass windows and tables. We found it very comfortable. |

This
was completely new to me. I had to look it up. Apparently it comes from
a bush with dark purple-red berries that grows wild in the Middle East
and parts of Italy. The berries are dried and ground to make sumac
spice. It is used widely in the cuisines of Lebanon, Syria, Turkey, and
Iran. It has a light earthy tart and acidic taste that did enhance the
"pop" of the food. |

DELICIOUS!! Made me smile. |

Again, this was an awesome serving. The serving tray was well prepped and I liked the foil hand grips. | |
I must say we certainly tasted
that attention to quality in every bite of the meal. I am now a
definite patron of this place and highly recommend you give it a try
when you want something fresh, healthy, and delicious.
